ESP32cam BLE connection in China

When I did my homework the phenomena also occured. My phone and app could find the divice but couldn't connect it.And another app like nRF could connect successed
BLE_Test.aia (86.3 KB)
.Have you solved the problem?I want to know what it coused.Thank you.

Is this an obdii device?

Show what nrfconnect says it found, and give us a link to the device documentation.

If you coded a device sketch, post that too.

Which builder did you use to create this aia?

See here for the current BLE exptension version.

My device is ESP32CAM,there is its divice documentation.
esp32_datasheet_cn.pdf (1.1 MB)
esp32-cam产品规格书.pdf (704.6 KB)

And I‘m not sure the exptension version because that is us found in Chinese network.

I’m trying to connect with my classmates, the part of hardware at their place. If I get the hardware,I would show what nrfconnect says it found as soon as I could. If need more another information could tell me.Our time zone may be different from yours, so the reply time might be a bit late. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you so much.

Your BLE .aix does not match the official MIT BLE aix release, at
https://community.appinventor.mit.edu/uploads/short-url/ylaGF5c9aUfubvf3UJTjdsVvSf6.aix

You can tell the difference by opening each with 7zip, and examining component.json in a text editor.

This is a link to a good BLE diagnostic program in the Google Play Store.

You might have alternative tools available to you where you are.

Using such a tool is helpful for proving that the hardware device works properly in sending and receiving BLE, and it also shows the exact values used for such important attributes like device and characteristic UUIDs.

This is getting way out of my areas of ability to help:

  • can't read Chinese docs
  • old BLE extension of uncertain origin
  • not an officially support MIT AI2 server version

If you get lucky, maybe come one closer to you could help.

Thank you again.I'll try to use the official version.Maybe that was a solusion.
