AAPT error is not resetted

AAPT error

Once you have it, you can’t get rid of it.

My working apk build was around 3.5Mb (far less then 30MB which was mentioned somewhere in the community)

I had:

22 buttons (each with around 30 blocks)

22 markers

44 globals (22x latitude 22xlongitude)

That is a lot of blocks. (copy paste). But what is the limit?

And finally you are hit by the AAPT error.

So I deleted numerous blocks, but still the AAPT error. Even with only one global text block left, error AAPT.

I deleted all, but still the AAPT error.

Finally I saved the no-block aia to a new name but the AAPT error remained. (BunkersV1.aia)

My opinion: The apk builder is faulty. Somewhere an error-flag should be resetted.

I made a screendump of the error list.

Change the name of "Location.png" to something else; "myLoc.png" should do it

You hit the nail on the head.
Life is easy if you are a professional.
Maybe AI2 should have warned me. Chris, don't use that name!
Thanks a lot.
Problem solved.
