Try a different emulator.

Same here, seems to be a glitch/w Windows 11. Tried other emulators, same issue.

Yup, i just broke down and installed the Bluestacks app and that seems to be working as an emulator that works for W11. For anyone else running into this issue:

  1. Download and install Bluestacks
  2. Run Bluestacks
  3. In BS you have to run the playstore and download MIT AI2 COMPANION
  4. In BS now you have to run the MIT AI2 COMPANION
  5. Now back on the MIT AI2 web site, click the CONNECT option and choose the AI Companion option, rather than the emulator option
  6. Your app (that you built in on the web site) should download to the Bluestacks MIT AI2 Companion app and start running
  7. In my case, i had to set the Bluestacks settings for the display to PORTRAIT mode
Hope that helps. Sorry I couldn't get the "native" MIT AI2 ai starter/emulator working on W11, but this is a work around.
