Discussion about Inline inputs

When right-clicking in the make-lists block, It gives an option for inline input. Can anyone please tell whats is its use and how it is different from normal external inputs.

It is just a different view of the block, it doesn't change anything with regards to execution of code.

Sometimes it is easier to view the block with an external input view, sometimes with an internal input view.

I use External inputs for deeply nested blocks, like some math formulas, because it makes it easier to see the nesting. It also eliminates empty space in block packing and arranges my blocks in a more vertically scrollable arrangement.
