Conection to a IOT 2050 via wifi with a router in between

Ok here's the thing, I am doing an app for a proyect and I have to control the proyect with my phone but for doing that I need to connect to my IOT(it's the actual one controling the proyect) so I could send the instructions. For some clarify in the IOT I have created a server that can recieve external data and it's connected to the router via cable and not wifi.

At the moment I am trying to make my app to detect the devices connected to the wifi.

And here is the extension I found to try and do the proyect, WIFI Transmo: WI-FI Peer to Peer Text, File transfer with Live audio transmitting - Extensions - MIT App Inventor Community, but if anyone has a different extencion to make this I will gladly take it.

It's been 20 years since I have walked on a raised floor.

You need a Web Service on your server, and the Web component.

Search this board for FAQ Web Services.

For what it's worth, here's a link to IOT2050 support community:

I'm not seeing much http support there.

that's because our intencion is to do this proyect without https and web, only via wifi and server and thanks I will take a look
