The error message is UnknownHostException: Host is unresolved: ai2.appinventor.mit.edu:80. This usually means that your firewall is blocking outbound access from the emulator to our server, which it needs to download the update. You’ll need to grant permission for emulator.exe to make outbound requests and then restart the emulator for the change to take effect.
How do I do that?
You should use an emulator like Memu or Bluestacks.
It depends on your configuration, but you should check your firewall (e.g., Windows Firewall, but your setup my vary) and add emulator.exe to the allowed outgoing list.
