Using Web component to capture and send data to a website (help)

Hello, I am a student and I'm making a project for our school. I'm currently having trouble in theses parts.

  1. Capturing and sending data inputed by the user.
  2. Using web components to send the data to an external site.

I'm very new to mitapp and i hope that anyone can give advice, thankyou. I would also appreciate a step to step guide or outline. Any help is appreciated.

A very good way to learn App Inventor is to read the free Inventor's Manual here in the AI2 free online eBook App Inventor 2 Book: Create Your Own Android Apps ... the links are at the bottom of the Web page. The book 'teaches' users how to program with AI2 blocks.
