Speech recognition without dialogue box is not working in Android 11

Speech recognition without dialogue box is not working in Android 11, but it is working in other old android versions like 10, 9, etc...

any one have an idea to solve this issue? please help.

you forgot to add a link to the extension you are talking about...
let me guess... are you talking about the Voice Recognition Extension without Google Dialogue by ScorpioNormal?

you might want to ask the author of that extension

Your problem with the speech recognition feature may be the same as mine.
This link is my question at MIT App Inventor "Bugs and Other Issues".

I also tried both the original SpeechRecognaizer function and the ScSpeechRecognizerV9_1.aix extension, but they did not work in Android 11.

ewpatton has dealt with this issue and it will be fixed in the next version update.
He also gave me a hint on how to get it working now if I want it to work now.
Since it is not an emergency for me, I did not use the old version of the companion and am looking forward to the new version to be released.
