It's not so much the speed as the reliability (discussed recently with Evan and TimAI2). That said, 22 / 9.5 Mbps should be fine. That's probably better than many schools using App Inventor.

Well that, from the perspective of the issue, is good. Perhaps the MIT servers are still not running and we are on the back-up AWS (Amazon) servers which may or may not be as good as MIT's.
