Is it possible to make a DLNA app?

I wanted to make a DLNA app where you can send pictures, image or audio to the tv and you can control the video, is that possible? By using web1, activitystarter and more

Thank you

Not a trivial endeavour.

Suggest you search around on github for what is required.

i did and no results

if you know how to, please tell me, otherwise its ok

This is one of several I found

Search for android dlna server

i dont see a code or a extension and its my first time in github and i cant download anything

Was really just to show you how difficult it would be to do so.

Plenty of third party apps that do it, and you also have cast.

or just copy content from your phone to a device running a DLNA/uPnP server.

so its super difficult for you to send image via wifi to tv?

No, it is easy with cast.

mines doesent support

is it that hard to use it as a web?

use what as a web? Do you mean your phone as an http server? You could install termux and run an http server on there. There are some methods for setting up an http server within Appinventor, but these are limited and/or i have had little success with them.

yes, to use it to connect the tv and send files or control video

Thank you for saying that.

hello how do I fix this?

Thank you

This is my blocks

What are you attempting to do ?

Do you have a web server running on your device?

Are you certain that path is correct ?

In companion app, use Do It to find out.

If you want to view a local image file in a browser, then just do that.

What im attempting to do is to send a picture to the tv so it displays the image

Yes in companion app

What is the ip address for, your phone or the tv ?

This should display your image in the device's default image viewer:

For the television,

To search the ip and get it

As previously advised, your TV will need built in screen mirroring (or similar) or an external Chromecast or other suitable external device in order to display either your device screen or device files. You could just plug your phone into a spare HDMI port with a suitable cable...

Does your TV run a fully fledged web server for sending files to it and then offering display options ?

My device doesent support MHL

Which is connecting your device to television

And my tv is built in screencast
