I can´t access "Create apps" button

Hello everyone.`

Since last monday (13/01/2020) I have been tried to access to my saved projects by clicking the Create apps! button but it has been impossible. The new window shows this error “No se puede acceder a este sitio” which means “Can’t access to this web page”. I’ve tried accesing from 3 differents pc’s and the same error occurs. I’m writing from Bogota, Colombia. Does anyone have the same problem?

Thank you for your time.

What about:
http://code.appinventor.mit.edu/login/
or

?

It may be that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) has the Web page blocked because it is not an https (it is an unsecure http ) … see something similar in this post https://groups.google.com/forum/?nomobile=true#!searchin/mitappinventortest/Dns$20/mitappinventortest/nN3RJqTfL7s

The issue could be either your ISP or your virus checker (your checker could be blocking the http site).

Could it be either of these? The servers are working fine for other users so the issue appearss to be on your end Rene.

The first link :+1:t3: but I also lost my projects. The second one links to the main page of app inventor when the error persists. I tried to fix the problem by doing what chrome recommended (firewall, proxy). Then I went to a internet coffe and the error persisted. The link TimAI2 posted works for me. Thank you for your time.

I went to the links posted here, but when I am in App Inventor, My projects does not appear. What can I do?

@Sofia_Parra

The main MIT App Inventor server is at http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/ . Most users develop using this server.

An additional server, for large Projects is at http://code.appinventor.mit.edu/
code_appinventorLogIn

Projects code using ai2.appinventor do NOT automatically appear on the code.appinventor server. The developer must create an aia file and load that file on code.appinventor unless she/he initiated the Project on that server. Log in here does not require a Google account. If you do not have an account you must note the Revisit Code and use that to log in on subsequent log ins.

If you coded using ai2.appinventor and you use your log in credentials, you should find all your Projects there. If you do not, the most likely cause is you are using a different Google account from the one you originally started that account. If you have another account; try logging in with it.

Users in Columbia have recently reported log in issues others do not experience. Are you located in Columbia?

Does this note help?

Yes, I am from Colombia, I logged with my google account. I always have used The main MIT App Inventor server --> http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/ , but I cant access to it.

@Sofia_Parra What can you do?

Is the issue that you cannot access the Web pages or that you can get to the sign in page and you log in but discover you have no Projects?

In the first case, what worked is what MIT stated indicated the believed the people having this problem are using a common web cache somewhere in their path. IAt some point this web cache corrupted the download of MIT App Inventor. I have seen reports of people succeeding to get in after they clear their browser cache. " Another possibility is that your local isp is blocking the Web page because it is a http site (not a secure https web page). The solution in that case is to contact your provider and find out if they are blocking access. Another possibility is you virus checker is blocking…the solution is to ‘white list’ the web page.

The second case is more problematic. If you can log in and you are certain you are using the same log in credentials you used in the path, someone from MIT might be able to help you (sorry I can’t). Is your log in identical to what you use to log in this Forum? If so, someone at MIT will look at your account if you say here you would like them to look. Just tell us, please look. This might take several days.

I'm having the same problem here in the Philippines.

Then use the same answer.
