How do you start a SMS activity?

I can seem to find any example anywhere.
What are the two strings you need here?

I think it would be easier to use the Texting component from the Social category. The SendMessage method will launch the default SMS activity.

Unfortunately that does not work - it does nothing.

Hmmm, with companion app not working for me either:

Try the u version of the companion app together with SendMessageDirect

That may well work, but doesn't resolve why SendMessage is not firing...
