How do I add multiple locations on google maps (feature where users can see clinics near them)

This simple example finds restaurants, hospitals etc. using the ActivityStarter and the LocationSensor

Is it possible to make a function on appinventor which detects the nearest restaurants or anything else?

The simplest way to find the nearest restaurants is to use the ActivityStarter to search as shown in the following link Is there any way to implement Place Types in App Inventor? Does this work for you? Another example using a LocationSensor with the ActivityStarter [asFind]

using Google Maps. Is this what you wish to do or something else?
