The action went out of the memory because I can't get it back with undo. It looks like it is corrupted
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Sockets should open up in the join as you approach it with a new block, like a hobo on the subway.
You don't need the mutator open for this.
I don't understand what You are saying. Why doens't it bring it back with undo
I restarted this project and it works fine again. I only report this behavior because it was weird. I hope it was a fault on my computer.
This needs a little video evidence for the bug list.
Loss of Undo sounds plausible.
I'm a few hours away from being able to try this
I understand. The problem doesn't occur anymore. When is does I reply on this.
I was unable to get any misbehavior
There it is again! When I pulled out the string a place wiped out. Very odd.
There are 7 in the join component and 8 in the string moderator
I can put as much strings in it the join component doesnt react
When I close and open the project it reacts normal again but 1 varaible is lost.
I would classify that under the heading Too Many Cooks Spoil the Broth.
Here we have two independently developed methods of manipulating block sockets (the Mutator and the dynamic docking mechanism), and you have exposed what happens when you set them against each other.
Sometimes I visit my doctor, describe a complaint, and he tells me Don't Do That.
Don't Do That.
Oke doctor. I won't do that again. Now I know this is a problem.
I noticed It still does't work stable als when I hide the block sockets..
Also the numbres of faults doesn't track right
Try that on the ai2-test server, which has been loaded with the nb202 test preview
I'll gone try it.
It is better but stil there is a strange behaviour.
When I pul out an item the place where it cling to disappearce. That is not always a good thing.
When I want to insert an item it doesn't work right.
Could you post a video of the bad behavior on the nb202 testing thread at Help test nb202
with your commentary?
That's the shortest road to a fix.
P.S. My favorite screen recorder on Windows is ScreenToGif.
