Hello App Inventor community,
I’m an educator using App Inventor in a classroom setting, and I’ve encountered a recurring issue: many of my students are under 13 (or under the local age of consent for Google accounts), which prevents them from creating their own Google accounts. Since App Inventor requires a Google account to log in, this creates a significant barrier to participation.
I’m wondering if there’s an official or recommended way to create or obtain bulk or institutional Google accounts specifically for educational use with App Inventor—similar to how some schools manage accounts through Google Workspace for Education. Alternatively, are there any workarounds or institutional solutions that allow supervised or shared access for younger learners?
Any guidance, best practices, or experiences from other educators would be greatly appreciated!
