I was about to share this w/ my students, but there are currently too many issues w/ the companion. I will try to document them over time, but (for starters):

  • The ImageSize app does not seem to work like on Android (though http://doesappinventorrunonios.com/ shows that the Clock component is supported). Nothing is displayed in the labels.
  • Also, I got a 'variable error' when trying to use the proximity sensor.

p.s. BlankTemplate works (doesn't give any errors). Woo hoo!

The iOS Companion have some bugs, see also here. But just use the companion, I think it won't have too many errors.
