I used the Absolute Arrangement tools to position the image exactly, but as soon as I drag the picture to change the position, the image disappears from MIT AI2 Companion.
Please tell me the solution to this problem, thank you.

Device being used?
Companion up to date?
Is this issue with companion, compiled app, or both ?

I wish that Arrangement was renamed to XYArrangement, to push it to the bottom of the Arrangements Designer pallet.
It's been over used, by people who stop reading at item 1.
I have yet to see a use case for it.
Android version = 13 I am using
Companion up to date Version: 2.76u
Tested on Android 16 with Companion.
I loaded an image component with image from assets, and a button component.
Neither of these components appear when using companion app (276u).
On an Android 13 emulated device, I see the same behaviour as the OP. The image appears at first, but if you move it in the designer it disappears.
Looks like a bug.

When I move a object in the arrangement, it disappears and never shows up is there a fix?
I used the absolute layout tools section, but when I put images in it, it doesn't show up in my MIT AI2 Companion version 2.76u. While I am using Android version 14 on my mobile.
Why did you use the Absolute Arrangement?
Because it was at the top of the Arrangements section?
Nesting Horizontal and Vertical Arrangements is better for building a scaffolding for your components.
Sample app:
Is there a way to use AbsoluteArrangement's functions without using it itself? Can you stack Horizontal and Vertical ones to get the same result, if yes, could you please tell how? I really need the fix for my project, massive thanks in advance.
That's not quite what I wanted, but still huge thanks. I will try to use this method.
Same here. A Nuisance since a few weeks.
My equipment:
Chromebook , quite old.
Android 13 Mobile , Motorola 32.
Let me start from my beginning.
I started using MIT App Inv. for a health project in May 14 (2025)
Since i often save and rename, i have a bunch of over 20 Versions to jump back to a previous version, and by this have quite accurate Dates here.
I got a running version ready about begining of June. Several updates until Aug 4.
Started another Project from Aug 2 to Aug 7.
Never saw this bug until then. Definitely.
Started another Updating session of the health app at Sept 4.
And had, as i remember, the vanishing bug.
The bug shows as Follows:
When i edit in the chrome book moving a button the Button is visible in the IDE.
Not visible in the Chromebook MIT app.
( I did only use the cromebook MIT app, not in the mobile. Unluckily.)
Not visible in the Built apk (!)
This doesnot (!) change if i reload the Program ( load another older, load back the worked one.)
If I reboot the Chromebook and reload the MIT app companion, everything is ok again (!)
The bug has somethimes in the past weeks appeared, and it has gone quite a nuisance for me.
My health apps surface was not really fine, i had first built a core of usable function.
Now, this bug showed sometimes and has got such a nuisance that i started to think about te reasons. only since a few days. Additionally, loading the chromebook App failed much more often than before, In the past it failed now and then , yesterday it failed starting 5 times in a row.
Yesterday i looked up this board and didnt find anything about this bug ( me bad).
Did i miss any updated version ? The MIT App in the Cromebook had 2.76 ( if i remember right since Aug 16 updated).
The one in the mobile hat 2.75. This morning i updated the mobile to 2.76. (bad luck).
No Changes.
And then I looked again and found this Posts.
See the coincidence ? First Post here in Aug 23. Version 2.76 since Aug 16.
My best bet, the bug is in the 2.76 Version of the MIT app companion, the 2.75 is fine.
How to go back to 2.75 ?
Update:
Item Disappears on Move. Textbox or button.
Labels do not disappear.
Sizing by pixels works fine.
