Is there a way to make the Zoom control smaller? It looks so big on the screen.
I'm using an Android 14 phone.

No the control can not be made to display smaller. Not possible with the native control.
Add buttons outside of the map to handle zoom ?

Yeah...I was thinking this might be the way to go.
Weird things is that some time it does work though..but it's very slow on my iPhone SE. Most of the time it won't move at all.
Same behaviour with the + / - control on the map ? Or is your comment with the control on the map?
On Android, Zoom in / out is completely normal, but the + / - symbol are too gif.
On the iOS, the + / - symbol are just right, but zomm in / out don't work normally.
I 've got the same problem, using phones with Android 10 & 11 and various tablets.
I wouldn't make much fuss out of it if on the AppInventor design page these controls wouldn't look different: Almost exact square, not a rectangle and the size of any webpage that includes a leaflet map.
I always argued that the map implementation does use a very outdated version of the leaflet script...
