Would it be able to build an app icon with animated effect, i.e the icon of the app is changing?

Would like to know if any way to create an app icon with animated effect.

I'm not sure if a .GIF file is allowed to be an app's icon.

Basically, it would not work - each device manufacturer has the final say on the size and shape of the icons and some like Huawei animate just installed Apps, so 99% of the time your icon would not work and it might even prevent the Users from running your App.

I did try with a animated GIF file for an icon Image in App Inventor. It is accepted but no animated effect.
