ich hatte gehofft, dass es wie z.B. in PHP reguläre Ausdrücke der Art

gibt.

Problem bei Deiner Lösung:
Es fehlen Umlaute und Großbuchstaben und nur für die deutsche Sprache gültig.
Vielleicht wären Funktionen wie in anderen Sprachen: if isletter, if isdigit, if not(isletter or isdigit) auch für appinventor sinnvoll.
