Why is the background image scaled when it has the right resolution?

Hi,

Why is the background image scaled when it has the right resolution?

I did this:

1. I set the application background to white.
2. I took a screenshot.
3. I checked how much space the black bar on the left side takes up.
4. I cut out the black bar and checked the resolution of the image.
5. I made a background with the same resolution (i.e. without the stripe)
