When changing font, I get: Error from Companion: Attempt to invoke visrtual method 'java.lang.String java.lang.Throwable.toString()' on a null object reference

When I change the font in my app, the emulator screen just flickers and I eventually get this error:

Error from Companion: Attempt to invoke visrtual method 'java.lang.String java.lang.Throwable.toString()' on a null object reference

It works if I use the AI Companion with my mobile phone. But I'd like to use the emulator on my laptop!

App Inventor version: 30.265.0
Architecture: AMD64

It is likely to be something that's simply not supported by the emulator. Try a third party emulator such as Blue Stacks.
