What is the easiest way to save spinner in a choosen position?

Just edit your blocks accordingly. Note that I use selectionIndex and NOT selection for stored values.

Im just not sure on how hehe

Can i please have you to help me to make it? Im very confussed.

Which element of my blocks example do you not understand ?

In essence, I replace the spinner with a button.

example, i have this on the picture, in my spinner and my screen1. But how should i combine that i make with that you made?

Like so:

Can i then put the procedures UpdateAllTexts, MergeDictionaries and key into also and where? (They are my language systems)
And where is the globals lang_da and lang_en?

Sorry i am confussed, but when i have learned 1 way to do things in, i have trouble to learn other ways?

I did not include any of the blocks not related to the spinner selection (directly).

You should attempt to replicate what I have done / provided in your app.

I done that, but i dont know where to put the other stuff. That i made.

Like so ?

Now i tried that, but the spinner is empty:

Have you got this setup correctly?

image

yes, with exact same names. I doublechekked and triplechekked.

And you are now clicking the button and not the spinner ?

Yes, and when i push the button the spinner is blank.

Please share your latest aia project here

That is theese blocks i use for the language and translation:

It is an odd one, can't see why spinner elements will not show. Still looking.

Have you left any spinner blocks elsewhere in your blocks code ?

OK, there is something in one of your procedures - MergeDictionaries or UpdateAllTexts that is causing a problem.

Seems to have fixed itself

Try this aia project, I have made some changes.

Wauw, i think its maybe works now, what do you think about the app (i know i could use more reuse of blocks, labels, buttons and more. But i am still lerning.
Thank you verry much for your help.

You have obviously put a lot of thought and work into it. I really only looked at the Settings page, so difficult to make comment on the entire app, but if it is doing what you want then good for you.

Language switching and virtual screens can always seem to be block heavy, that is just the nature of the beast in App Inventor.
