What are the needed specs for the iOS system to run MIT App Inventor?

Hello,

I might have access to some Air 2 pads for next year.
My tech department is asking for the needed specs to run MIT App Inventor on the iPad to see if they are compatible.

I have an old iPad air that is working fine.

It is running iOS 12.5.3 at the moment and is still updating. My iPad has 16 GB.

The main requirement is that the devices run iOS 9 or higher. Some features need newer versions of iOS. For example, SpeechRecognizer needs iOS 10 because it relies on some Siri APIs introduced in that version.
