In this code I´m trying to generate a pause , between the start (both fields black) , then one field comes light blue after a count, and then the otherafter a second count, but they both become light blue simultaneously and never go black again… Is my logic wrong?

If you want to do a count, use the clock component and not variables, the appinventor runs it on an instant.
