Since today I am getting this error 909:
java.lang.NullPointerException: Attemp to invoke virtual method ‘java.lang.String.toLowerCase(java.util.Locale)’ on a null object reference
The Error appears when using WebView for the first time and continues showing, even when not in WebView anymore
Yesterday all was working fine and I haven’t changed anything in the App..
Which webview? Native webviewer or extension ?
Can you repeat this issue in a new project ?

A massive outage is currently crippling a large portion of German .de domains. The cause is a technical problem at the central registry DENIC, where a faulty DNSSEC signature is blocking access nationwide.
But they said the problem was solved…
Could be an issue with browser caching.
Suggest restart everything, if that doesn't work, clear your browser cache and test.
The error still shows up and the app is already closed since 10min…
And not only on thei device, have tested it with several devices…
I am not sure if it is the WebView component, it could be also the Web component
Seems like a local/local to you issue. Suggest you talk to your internet provider, see what advice they can give.
Which AppInventor server are you using? If the main server, try the code server...
This error looks like the one affecting Firebase DB: Please help, can enter data firebase, previously could, but suddenly the application error occurred, and a notification appeared as shown in the picture during the trial
Do you have any Firebase DB component on that same screen?
I am sure you have not used the Firebase component in blocks editor but you have dropped it in designer.

Had ONE Firebase component (not used, only dragged in) and this caused the error
