Karen Lang has left MIT to accept a new position working on computing education with Technovation. We at MIT App Inventor are sad at the departure, but we’re looking forward to continued work with Karen on empowering students through technology. Everyone who touches App Inventor has benefited immensely from Karen’s 5 year tenure at MIT: her direct work with students and teachers, her leadership of our K-12 curriculum, her supervision of MIT staff and students, and her representing MIT App Inventor at a raft of educational organizations. Even as Karen leaves, she is continuing work on a book on App Inventor to appear next year.
Karen: Thank you immensely and best wishes for continued success!
