I have been using the KIO4 Tone generator extension (referenced at https://groups.google.com/g/mitappinventortest/c/56KF_8M-uNk?pli=1) to create a morse code generator.

The app works at least for a bit, but I run into an init failed that crashes the app.
(Principles of the app are based on Morse - Google Docs)
I suspect this may be an issue with the extension itself, but perhaps I'm wrong...Has there been issues with tone init failed errors before?
It would help if you enlarge the screenshot of the error thrown; it's almost unreadable.
It says Init failed

I did a little more digging... It seems like the underlying ToneGenerator is the bigger issue:
