I am using companion v2.59, and since a couple of days ago TinyDB will not save. I believe there was an upgrade. Could it be due to that? I have supplied my blocks just in case I have become dyslexic.
Looks OK. Are you using more than one namespace, and the tag is being saved to the "other" namespace?
Your check procedure was missing a block:
You left out the is empty block.
