The language of the Text To Speech App is weird

Can you help me to see why the sound of the text-To-speach sounds strange? One student send me the video but the language is strange

and I do not what is incorrect.

Devi fare attenzione ad associare la giusta lingua di destinazione; nelle proprietà Country e Language.

Also, the quality is very much dependant on the Text To Speech engine. When my Samsung Phone is set to Samsung TTS, the results are not so great, but Google's TTS is pretty good. App Inventor uses which ever TTS engine is set as default on the Android device.
