Text to Speech on Amazon Fire

Hi all,
I have a app which uses TTS, it works on my Samsung A13, but not on the Amazon Fire.
The Fire has been changed so it is as close to an Android Tablet as possible.
Does ayone ot there know if what I'm trying to do is possible.

I dont have one of these things but I do know TTS can be activated on a Fire.

How? I guess you have to go to the device system settings and look for TextToSpeech or TTS and see if it can be activated.

Something like "tap the center of the screen, and then tap Aa (Settings). Tap More Options, and then tap On next to Text-to-Speech ... " see https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-enable-text-to-speech-on-the-Amazon-Fire-tablet#:~:text=While%20reading%2C%20tap%20the%20center,hear%20the%20text%20read%20aloud.

Does that work Keith?

Morning Steve,
Thanks for the reply.
The advice enable screen reader, which provides speech for the Amazon Fire but not for the App created with App inventor.

@ewpatton do you have a suggestion to help Keith use TextToSpeech with an Amazon Fire Tablet. Is it possible?
