I am a teacher and some of my students are having a problem on their chromebooks where they will change the background of the screen, or even the canvas image, and it will not update on the computer screen, but it will update on their connected tablet. It makes it very difficult to work. Has anybody else had this issue?

Usually when there's a disconnect between the two systems it tends to be on the device side, so your report is pretty interesting. Is there anything notable about the image you're trying to load (size, format, etc.)? For example, iOS has a format HEIC that isn't supported by all the major browsers and I wonder if that is part of the issue. You may want to share an example project here that demonstrates the problem and one of our team members can have a look.
