Sound recognition

Hello I am trying to make a Bird Identifier app by sound. Is this possible to get this done in MIT App Inventor?

Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

This seems possible using Android Studio

I don't know whether this would work with App Inventor.

If you want to see your competition, see the Merlin app from Cornell University, on the Play Store.

I registered their free app, and identified birds in my neighborhood by sound.

But now they email me soliciting bird conservation charities.

I have checked the Merlin app and have gotten a few ideas from them though since I want to keep my Bird app as simple as possible I will stay away from sound recognition because my coding abilities are fairly small and if I go that way it may never be finished thus I am just including two sections: Image and Bird Call using prerecorded mp3 files.
