Sms forwarder to app messenger or email

i followed some tutorial making an sms app and it works... but what i need is a sms forwarder to app messenger or email so i can still see who was messaging me when im at work. because were not allowed to use smartphone during office hour..

is there any tutorial making a sms forwarder?

This is an old thread and up to now it was not possible to receive a SMS in the background and forward it...

This is now possible using version 2 (beta) of my sms receiver extension

I prepared a test project here, which forwards incoming sms to another phone number

The example could be adjusted to send an email instead by using one of the email solutions, which can send an email programmatically without user interaction.
