I have no idea what to do, I don't want to download anything, I just want to set it to desktop mode, any ideas? I just to run it on my chrome book on desktop mode instead of mobile mode if possialbe.

are they just an extended form of the webveiwer?
as I already have a project that's using webveiwers and I just want to make sure I can just swap them out
this is an old answer and once was correct but now not anymore because now we can set the user agent using extensions... I updated my answer...
