Tambien hay otros efectos visuales que podrias poner, so se exactamente que es lo que queres hacer, asi que te dejo unos links.
Indistintamente el efecto carrusel se puede hacer con html y javascript.
Hay muchos efectos en internet. Tendrias que buscar y luego cargar el texto que quieres animar dentro de un html con formato y listo.
