Screen compatible with all mobile screen

while developing my app and testing it, I found out that in few old phones the app screen is not adjusting according to my screen developed, it cuts of few information/icons that I am displaying to the user.
I am not able to figure out what may be the probable reason for it?

if I do this experiment with any latest Samsung or Google phones the screen works perfectly and adjusts according to the screen I developed and shows all the icon and information that i am displaying on the screen.

usually i solve that problem in simple way i.e., every component i will reset Height & Width in percent size instead of using pixels.
