Running local MIT App Inventor server, but the top bar is somewhat messed

Hi,

I've been running the MIT App Inventor server on my computer for about a month now, and I've been developing an Android app on it.
Up until now the top row of the user interface has been fine, but lately I've noticed it's a bit broken. See the attached picture!

What can I do to make this top line the old, more readable one again?

I appreciate any advice!

Best, Pál

Check those browser extensions in the upper right.

One of them has something to say.

Do you mean Tampermonkey plugin sir?
Tampermonkey just said that it is now available on Android. Isn't that what you meant, Sir?

It's just a guess.

You complained about a change in browser appearance, and that's what browser extensions do.

Well, I have two browser extensions installed on Google Chrome: Tampermonkey 5.4.1 and Adblock Plus 4.32.3.

If I remove both, this problem still persists on the MIT App Inventor local server.

What might be contributing to this phenomenon is the regular updating of the Google Chrome browser. What else could be causing it?

Try a different browser/computer, any change ? Also try in Private window (this excludes extensions and other things). Try switching to classic from neo (and back)?

The same is true in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
I also tried in incognito windows in both browsers.
No change.

I also tried switching between Classic and Neo interfaces. In Classic mode, the top section appears correctly, but in Neo mode it does not; this applies to both browsers.

OK, we seem to have it narrowed down to a problem with the Neo interface, not browsers, computers, browser extensions. I do not know what the best thing is to do next, but probably some type of re-install or re-configuration will be required.

Press F12, go to Console and look for errors there.

The issue is a failure when loading the font for the icons in the topbar (you see the "raw icon name", and if the font were loading, it would replace them with the actual glyph).
Not sure what the exact issue might be, given you seem to be connected to Internet and the rest of the server appears functional.

This is a documented issue, a PR is in progress:
