You probably will get more feedback then...
which means in your case post a screenshot of your relevant blocks...
To download the aia file, upload it to App Inventor, open it, do some bug hunting for you, etc... this takes time, and most people will not do that...

If you touch the listen button, it tells you the word, while then the child should repeat it with the pink button, and could listen to it again with the green button, but I can't get it to work
You need to provide a full or absolute path ending with a .3gp extension to save the recording, e.g.
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data//files/gatto.3gp
You can build this path using the File component.
additionally first set property SavedRecording, then start recording
