Recently, I am doing a project with the OCR extension But due to my camera image must be at least 3.7 mb and the extension can only afford 1 mb
I want to ask for a way to reduce the image graphic in App Inventor.
Use Taifun's Image extension to resize the image. You will need to change the extension for the image from png to jpg (not convert the file)

There is no event for image resize....

You may need to introduce a clock timer, in order to give the resize time to complete....
Why, when it can be done on the app ?
