Recommendations for Integrating a Video Editing Feature in My App?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a new app using MIT App Inventor and would like to integrate a video editing feature. I'm searching for reliable and user-friendly video editing software that can be a good reference or even possibly integrated into my app.

I've come across the VN Video Editor and it looks quite promising. Has anyone here used it before? How effective is it for basic to intermediate video editing tasks? Any advice or alternative recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You need an extension to edit the video natively in your app (recommending FFMPEG), or some activity starter magic to open VN Editor so you can edit your video from there (I feel like the latter would be pointless because you can just minimize your app and open the VN app you have provided).
