Recently very annoying message windows

Hi everyone! Am I the only one who's annoyed by this pop-up message when working with the companion? This

pops up at irregular but very short intervals: "Google Play Services has stopped!"
Did something go wrong with an upgrade or something? It would be great if someone could take care of this problem, because I've tried everything imaginable and ruined an entire day without being able to do a single second of my actual work.

Hi an Alle! Bin ich der einzige, dem diese Popup-Meldung beim Arbeiten mit dem Companion auf die Nerven geht? In unregelmäßigen aber sehr kurzen Abständen poppt dieser Mist auf "Google Play-Dienste wurde beendet!"
Ist da irgendwas bei einem Upgrade oder so schiefgelaufen? Wäre schön, wenn sich einer/eine dem Problem annähme, denn ich habe alle mögliche und unmögliche versucht und mir einen ganzen Tag damit versaut, ohne nur eine Sekunde meine eigentliche Arbeit in Angriff nehmen zu können.

Hi Michael,

I totally understand your frustration — that popup can be really disruptive! :confused:

A few things you might try:

  1. Clear cache and data for Google Play Services: Go to Settings → Apps → Google Play Services → Storage → Clear Cache / Clear Data.
  2. Check for updates: Make sure both Google Play Services and your companion app are fully updated.
    3.Reboot your device**: Sometimes a simple restart helps after updates.
  3. Uninstall recent updates(if the problem started after an update): Settings → Apps → Google Play Services → Uninstall Updates.

Hopefully one of these helps fix the issue so you can get back to work!
