Publish my app with extension (to the App Inventor Gallery)

i tried to publish my app to the gallery but it says it cannot be published because it has extensions that is very sad.
any way around that?

Unfortunately no. It is not possible to publish to the gallery if your project contains an extension.

You can create a topic here on the community in the App Showcase category to show off your app. (As long as you have not used a paid extension...)

come to think about it, why is it that way, this limits a looots of good apps.
also it seem one can only add links to the post but no attached APK for example or do i miss something and in order to make it useful for someone else one needs to supply the aia file too - right?
i wanted to post my app to tgoogle play but the process seems to be outrageously complicated so i gave up

When you upload to the gallery your app is available to others as an aia project, this is the samefor AppShowcase, you can upload an aia project to the community.

If you want to provide an apk, then you will need to host this elsewhere and provide a "landing page" link (not a direct download link)

so if i put my APK on the MS onedrive it would not work?
