Project Blocks aren't loading

When I load a project the designer comes up but the blocks do not load. I keep getting a pop up to wait or close the page. Not a single project will load the blocks on the http://code.appinventor.mit.edu/ site. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you may have "Enable Project Autoload" on by default:

EnableProjectAutoload

If so, that would mean the issue is with the first file in the Designer List.

  1. Disable Project Autoload and sign-out of App Inventor.
  2. Sign back into App Inventor.
  3. From the Projects List, select any Project other than the one at the top of the List.

Does the loaded Project now allow you to open the Blocks Work Area?

Other things to consider:

  1. Only use either FireFox or Chrome
  2. Do the non-loading Projects all use the same extension? Could be an extension fault.
  3. Is something (or someone) eating-up your broadband width?
