Problema relativo alla mia app

Hello everyone,
For a few days now, my meditation app has been crashing every time my smartphone shuts down. I even checked the "No power saving" option, but the problem persists.

Regards
Nicola

Do you mean switches off or just goes to sleep (blank screen, comes back when tapped or button pressed) ?

If the latter, you probably need to incorporate a keep awake function.

Please elaborate, what exactly means "crashing" for you? Provably the player stops plsying after the device went ro sleep?

I mean, when it goes into sleep mode after 15 seconds; for years my app has always continued in the background..while now it happens that when it goes into sleep mode, the app execution is also stopped; and I am forced to turn the screen back on every time

What about keeping the screen on?
The tools extension does have a method for this

Android version and device name?

Android version and device name?

Post your aia or send it to me via PM. (Audio files are in the assets?)

My smartphone is a Samsung A 16 and the android version is 16.
Unfortunately I can't send you the file as it is 27 MB in size.

Upload it to Google Drive and post the link.

All 7 Players...

With these settings, your app would never have played in background / idle mode (on any Android version).

Btw, it is not necessary to use 7 Players (but only one). The app cannot be built on the main server (APK might be bigger than 32MB).

Actually, by unchecking all the players, when you suspend them, they no longer stop. But the strange thing is that before the system update, even though the check was there, they continued to run, despite the suspension.

If PlayOnlyInForeground is enabled in the Player component, the Player will only play when the screen is visible, meaning it definitely won't play when the screen/app is in the background or in idle mode.

I've been working with App Inventor (AI Classic) since 2013, later AI2, Appy Builder, Thunkable, Kodular, and Niotron, and have updated my more than a dozen audio apps in the Play Store well over 1000 times over the years. So I have considerable experience and knowledge of working with audio apps.

So it must mean that my smartphone was so old that it allowed it anyway. :upside_down_face:
P.S. I absolutely don't want to question the enormous experience you've acquired since 2013, of course.
