Problem with ai2 server today (20/01/2022 - 1100 GMT)

Anyone else having trouble with the ai2 server today? (http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/)

On startup app loads, but:

I found the same error, however I created a new project and it works.

Yes, I have just seen i can create a new project (and open an existing one...)

Just saw it to. It wasn't there a few hours ago. Refreshing the screen (F5) gives the error every time.

yeah i was facing this error too

refreshing gives the error ,also the time is ist in my side 17:09

There seems to be an issue at the moment with certain files not being readable by our backend in Google App Engine. The error message is unfortunately not really communicating the problem, but it turns out the issue as far as we can tell is with reading the templates for populating the repository dialog. You should be able to open projects without any issues but the error does break the autoload functionality since the repository lookup is on the critical path there.

We've deployed a temporary workaround to the issue.

To be clear, this is the result of data corruption inside Google's App Engine, which we kludged around. See Add some detail to logging from ProjectServiceImpl by jisqyv · Pull Request #2630 · mit-cml/appinventor-sources · GitHub for what we did... :slight_smile:
