A small extension to prevent Doze mode during playback of an audio stream. [grafik] Example blocks using AudioExoPlayer extension by @Patryk_F: [grafik] Even streaming URLs that do not work with the MediaPlayer (player component or MediaPlayer-based extensions) work perfectly with these extensions.

I have now integrated AudioExoPlayer and your Prevent Doze extension into my radio app. It works great. The stream runs without stopping. Unfortunately, it didn't work with JoeDevPlayer.

Hybrid Version: MediaPlayer and Media3/ExoPlayer

• The Media3 library v1.9.0-alpha01 has been added specifically to play problematic URLs...
  • For example:
    • URLs containing: "hls", "dash", "schlagerparadies", "streaming".
    • URLs starting with: "rtmp://", "rtsp://".
    • URLs ending with: ".m3u8", ".mpd".

If none of these are mentioned, playback will continue using MediaPlayer.

• The Play function has been updated to play only. The mediaSource parameter has been separated, and the MediaSource property has been added to set the music's path.
• When playing streams, playback will begin with a fade-in to avoid jarring sounds.

I was really interested in being able to use the controls to manage start and stop from the headphones like on your player. I wanted to ask if you could kindly create an extension with just this feature, so I can manage play and stop on the player I already use.

Hi Django, I honestly wasn't even thinking about having a developer work just for me. I wrote this message thinking that maybe someone else, like me, might enjoy having a single extension with just that one feature. I've never written extensions myself, but I have some programming knowledge, and my thought (perhaps wrongly) was: maybe I could just copy the few lines of code that handle this function and paste it into a new extension file, and that's it, since he'd already created an extension that handles this function...

Friend, just so you know, your extension doesn't play this type of streaming URL; the application just keeps thinking and eventually delivers not the audio.

When I load this adress to opera browser it delivers a download of a file named "stream" with a 6,3kb/sec download rate. Pretty sure this isnt usable as a music stream, isnt it?
Are you using some limited free plan( reduced stream speed, limited User,...) at yaservers.com?

I don't know that information because the URL isn't mine, but it's most likely that it's a premium plan.
