it does not show happy and sad face
The base PIC model is Mobilenet, which hasn't been trained on any images of humans, so it's not great at distinguishing subtleties in human expression. For the happy-sad comparison you typically need a lot of examples for it to work somewhat well. We've since moved to using the PICaboo tutorial which has a more salient signal (hand over the eyes).
