Actually there's no way to directly print a PDF on ESC/POS, what it should be done is converting the pdf to an image and then print that image. It can be an addon but i haven't created it as there are extensions cretead specifically for that purpose.

The WebView thing is almost the same, from web content to pdf, from pdf to image and finally printing that image. Also it could be from webcontent to image.

In Windows usually when you print web content to an esc/pos printer the printer driver does all the conversion automatically

I'll evaluate if it is worth adding these functions to my extension.

I think you need to print pdf or webview content as you have your own method to design receipts or tickets. I think it may be helpful for you to check this extension:

You could convert PDF to image and try to print with my extension to match your desired printing results. Also webview to pdf and pdf to image as i mentioned before. Let me know if you need more help

It is not feasible with all the suggestions you mentioned, I have tried everything. Converting a PDF to an image has many tools to support this, however, none of them can extract all the pages of a PDF as images. They can only capture the visible part. Meanwhile, invoices vary in length. The biggest limitation of these add-ons is that they cannot print languages with diacritics. Currently, they only work with the English language. Therefore, there needs to be a direct way to convert to an image and easily adjust margins... in order to print languages with diacritics. Additionally, it would be beneficial to integrate the ability to print PDFs

It would be helpful to mention if you are using a tool to generate an invoice format where you get a PDF file, so it could be easier to help you out and use another alternatives, remember that characters limitations don't rely on the extension but on the thermal printer, for example there are cheap printers that only can print Chinesse and English characters, Epson printers in the other hand usually don't have those limitations. I've helped a lot of users printing Japanese (katakana, kanji), Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian...a lot more
