MIT has no proprietary rights in the apps you create with MIT App Inventor. These apps belong to you.

how to pug in custom maps? like an iPhone map?

If you run App Inventor on iOS it will use Apple Maps as the backing map engine. Our Android offering uses OpenStreetMaps. There isn't a way to use a custom mapping provider at this time.
